Now the Gat is back, and by the looks of things, he’s none-too-fond of Saints Row 4’s latest extraterrestrial threat. Appearing in an all-new promo video released online today, Johnny turns the tables on his alien abductors with a shiv as sharp as his dress sense. From there on out, it’s ultra beatdowns all the way, as Gat gets to display his amazing range of otherworldly powers. Highlights include an inverted midair slam/curb stomp, a crowd-dispersing Hadouken-like blast, and, of course, more outrageous kung-fu shenanigans than you can shake a ‘Penetrator’ truncheon at. For more on these unique moves, check out our Saints Row 4 preview.
Returning to voice Gat is LOST star Daniel Dae Kim, who joins the likes of Terry Crews, Nolan North, Neil Patrick Harris and wrestling superstar Rob Van Dam in bringing Saints Row 4’s crazed cast of caricatures to life. The complete list of voice actors, as revealed yesterday, includes —

In other Saints Row-related news, a spoof web page has gone live detailing the policies of the game’s fictional government. Saintsrow.gov features such life-like applications as an I.D card creator, a weapons registration system and a ‘meet the administration’ menu. Best of all, the site showcases a number of hilarious new laws players can vote into in-game action. Options range from the useful to the downright absurd, including a petition to outfit ice cream trucks as mobile weapon retailers and an appeal to send Dr. Genki to the UN.
Look for more Saints Row 4 announcements at San Diego Comic-Con, when Keith David, JB Blanc, Yuri Lowenthal, Troy Baker and Laura Bailey will join outspoken Volition creative director Steve Jaros for the “Saints Row 4 Super Dangerous Wub Wub Panel.”
